Location, location

A common question that arises when I talk about my trip is "where, exactly?". I have attached a map below that should answer the question. The map is of the closest town to both reserves: Tzaneen.

Getting Ready for Africa

I am only five weeks away from my departure to South Africa on January 7. I just need my rabies vaccination, and then everything is ready to go. I will be working in two different wildlife reserves, monitoring predator/prey interactions. I am excited for the new opportunity as well as a little apprehensive about leaving and travelling on my own again.

My hope is to post every few weeks on this site with lots of pictures, video (if possible) and stories of life in the African bush.
